Moving on.... To Dutch John

Since  the last posting of the Jones travels, we've added another member to the family (Ozzie), finished schooling, and moved out to the Uinta Basin of Utah to start a career with the Forest Service in fabulous Dutch John, Utah. 

My new employ consists of helping to manage the Green River corridor from Flaming Gorge Dam to approximately the Colorado boarder. It's beautiful country that has many scars from fires. The fishing is the best part. Can't wait to get the kiddos out and start that great sport.

Here's a quick snap at Swett Ranch. It is a quaint little spot that the Swett Family homesteaded. A storm was rolling in so we had to high tail it out before the roads became impassible.

Happy 36th Birthday Erika!!!

Holy-molly!  She's 36 and going strong.  Happy Birthday to the #1 Wife... oh and Mom... in the whole wide stinking world!!!

In the beginning there were stories... This is the tale of ours.

No story is complete without a look at the cast members.  5 of the 6 members of this family are here. Can you figure out who is who?  There is Naomi, Jesse, Tommy, Annie and Olsen.  However, the sixth, Erika, was excluded because her head was too big.  J/K (yup! just used j/k... awesome I know!).

For Halloween we got the most ginormous pumpkin. Erika took the kiddos out to the pumpkin patch in an attempt to find the "Great Pumpkin".

The green one in the picture was really cool! It had warts all over it. I believe it has been dubbed wart-holio! Totally forgot to put in a picture of the final cast member -

I know... drop dead gorgeous! What can we say... I think the pumpkin seeds got to her.

So hopefully this will be a blog about the our stories.... We'll see how long we can keep it up.
